Everybody's wins prestigious European award.

Everybody's Hotel Directory has today been awarded a "Best of the European Web" award by Europe Online, Europe's number one pan-European internet portal.

The award means that Everybody's Hotel Directory will be directly linked from the UK Travel section of the portal. However, more importantly, in turn this link will ensure Everybody's Hotel Directory is well seen by internet users across Europe who access the internet via ASTRA satellites using the "Internet in the Sky" system - the Europe Online portal being the system's point of entry onto the web. "Internet in the Sky" allows web pages to be received at over twice the speed of ISDN using standard satellite receiving equipment and either a television or a PC equipped with a suitable PC adaptor card. The "Internet in the Sky" service is expected to launch fully in the UK soon.

In making the award, Europe Online highlighted "the user-friendly interface, easy navigation, content quality, and continuous updating" of the Everybody's Hotel Directory site.
